Entrepreneurial Success Depends on Your Personal Growth

Entrepreneurial success has very little to do with the system you’re building with, the platform, the software, the tech, the staff, the hours….It has everything to do with your personal development.

My mistake in my first year of going out in the world of entrepreneurship was to focus on the “how to” and attempting to “perfect the system.” While those are without a doubt necessary in the long run — I’d have to say the reason I struggled so much in the beginning is because I simply wasn’t game. What I mean is I was not strong emotionally — the second something didn’t go right I got side tracked, began to doubt, retreated, become fearful and ran away. When problems happened I was always off loading why it wasn’t my fault. When things didn’t work out I found every excuse why I couldn’t make it happen and I would justify it all.

The bottom line — if you want to succeed in the world on entrepreneurship — you have to become more. You have to learn more. You have to become a bigger version of yourself. You have to become disciplined, emotionally strong, focused, maintain vision against every problem and set back — you need to grow, and grow fast.

Check out this rant I did — I talk about this after working with my team for the past 30 days in a sprint to build. I think this will help you understand the importance of personal growth as well as give you a starting point in your journey. ENJOY!

BTW: If this made an impact on you — shoot me a comment in the video — would love to hear your feedback and feel free to share this with someone who you think this could positively impact!
